ELEVENTH DREAM DAY
EL MOODIO

Atlantic Records, 1993; CD, LP

Tara Key (guitar) appeared on “The Raft”

What a thrill to go down to Sorcerer Sound and hang for the recording of this record. Jim Rondinelli produced, homeboy Wink O’Bannon was on second guitar and TK was turned loose to do her thing, sowing the seeds for touring Europe with EDD in 1997, when she played the role of second guitar on a tour through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Holland. It was the first time TK hit European soil in any guise. The tour provided a chance for Rizzo and TK to latch onto each other's guitar DNA, and once they had spent weeks interlocking, it led to a strong desire to explore the chemistry further. Hence Rizzo/Key, Dark Edson Tiger and, in 2009, the recording of the second album of their collaboration, due in 2010.

Later, TJO produced Victory Park for Antietam and Tim, Tara and TJO, as T at 3, produced and recorded the first Naysayer album with Anna Padgett and Cynthia, Deathwhisker, at Chessie Studios for Carrot Top.

TK says: I got a call out of the blue , flew to Chicago and was put up at Chez Rizzo. I had no preparation -- I had not heard a single tune. It was all so mysterious! I was very anxious to deliver for NMH and spending some pithy, but productive time with this Chicago crew was just another checkmark on the growing evidence list titled "Why Chicago Is My Second Musical Home." I also loved having a chance to work at Electric Audio. I have never seen so many condiments in my life.

It goes without saying that we have had our closest sibling band in our heart from practically the first heartbeat of Antietam. YLT's first show was our third. All three members of YLT have jammed with us either on record or live throughout decades. And we have turned up on their tracks from time to time too.
